As a matter of fact United States? nuclear strategy to have North Korea to discard its nuclear facilities failed, which started in l993 to right up to this moment in January 2008.
It was an expected failure of such for a strategy. It is not only America is responsible for the failure, but former presidents of the Republic of Korea, Kim Young Sam and Kim Dae Jung as well as Roh Moo Hyun are responsible.
Because of them, the United States spent a great deal of funds, amounting to several billion dollars. America was right in l993 to attack North Korea which America was prepared to do. The United States should have taken an action to attack North Korea even an hour before, even though there was an opposition from President Kim Young Sam of South Korea.
At the time, North Korea nuclear weaponry and intercontinental ballistic missiles (IBM) were not 100% completed and not yet ready to be launched then.
The United States is part of coalition forces and would have the opportunity to surround Korean peninsula and should have the opportunity to verify North Korea discarding its nuclear facilities.
To reiterate that that fool President Kim Young Sam of South Korea neglected to verify North Korea long underground tunnels through Seoul to be used as a way of attacking South Korea and disrupted United States?attempt to have North Korea nuclear facilities discarded. As a result, the United States was put in a corner.
At the time, President Bill Clinton should have put a strong pressure on Kim Young Sam. There was a problem with President Bill Clinton that he could only be frustrated by the opposition of Kim Young Sam.
At the time, U.S. Marine with its fighters and battle ships which were headed toward Korean peninsula, should have not hesitated to enter North Korea territorial water and should have negotiated with Kim Il Sung on the abandonment of its nuclear programs.
Nevertheless, l994 Geneva agreement was reached. After that North Korea continued to develop its underground nuclear facilities to be a nuclear power. America had a mistaken judgment of North Korea camouflaged strategy. Unity Press TV invited about 200 Korean Americans in Los Angeles and Unity Press TV emphasized that, Geneva Agreement has been reached, but North Korea is secretly developing its nuclear weaponry.?
Now the United States cannot blame the stupidity of Korean presidents or naivety of President Bill Clinton. It is the contention of Unity Press TV that President Bush should be ready to take a military action to resolve North Korea nuclear issues.
The United States specially should not send special envoy to North Korea, it only entangled itself into delaying tactics of North Korea (it is the very reason that North-South dialogues have failed for the last 30 years).
President Bush must invite Kim Jong Il to Washington to settle nuclear issues. If he would not come, then send a letter demanding yes or no on the nuclear issues and ask for definitive answer.
It is not very clear whose idea it was to have 6-nation party. 4 years ago. Such an idea could have been an idea from college students. As it may have seen from its attitudes of delaying tactics of North Korea, the United States government should have dealt with North Korea in two-nation talks.
It is often said that. Time only gives North Korea an advantageous edge,?which brought this horrible nuclear situations. It is disheartening to see the brains of the Bush administration and State Department on insistence of 6-nation talks.
Who are the think tanks of the United States? Did they ever been to the heart of North Korean system? The thinking and brains of western pundits could not deal with vicious North Korea stick and carrot strategy by its soft landing strategy.
If the strategy cannot be successful, the short-term strategy must be revised to deal with exis of evil? Kim Jong Il. A strong and soft policy measure should be employed to deal with it.
Because of the failure of the U. S. government and its think tanks, billions of tax money of U. S. citizens spent on North Korea because of the failure of the U.S. government and its think tanks not knowing Kim Jong Il way of thinking, characteristics of his birth origin, survival strategy, double and triple tactical camouflaged strategies.
The lax fiscal policy has invited such a failure. It would be less disgraceful if they should have supported Unity Press TV with a small amount of funds.
In any case, Kim Jong Il will not discard its nuclear facilities unless he is paid in advance. The United States should see the situation from their stand point. North Korea has poured millions of dollars in developing its nuclear facilities over the last 20 year. Would they make the deal without cash in hand as they make its roadmap?
Bush administration should have a face-to-face meeting with Kim Jong Il directly to negotiate. From today, the meeting of working officials on nuclear issues should be disbanded. If Kim Jong Il does not meet the demand of the U.S., there should action to seize sea and air of North Korea. If it is left as it is now, America would face another No.2 Pearl Harbor attack from North Korea 10 years from now.
America, who have not yet made a wholesale arrest of Bin Laten terrorists, would be confident enough to handle the attacks from North Korea+ China+ Russia+ Bin Laden team? America arrogance and pride invited this situation..
The democratic system of respective independence of the three powers is very admirable. Among them, within the judiciary, corruptions are rampant, such deceptive practice of the judiciary, and fraud in the judiciary which is heinously excessive.
It is hard to understand that U.S. government and its special agencies could not solve the problems. It would be a difficult game to handle North Korea? nuclear issues when it cannot handle the enemy within. A hard-line conservative President Bush regime could not take care of North Korea nuclear issue; the United States?safety is in danger. It is not a joke.
