ESL Teacher Process

1. Interviewing
After you contact us with your resume or E-Mail, one of our recruiting consultants will contact you to arrange a phone interview right away.
During the phone interview we can discuss the basic things as your qualifications, preferences, and locations and so on.
 
2. Sending job offer and Negotiating
If our basic desires are match, we??ll send a job offer including a form of contract.
 
3. Preparing Working Visa (E2)
Once you have accepted a job, you will receive a signed contract and confirmation letters from us for the visa process.
For public school positions, those following documents are required by the law.

Please send them those Documents.
  • A Completed Application form
        (Form will be provided form us.)
  • Cover letter
  • An Official Medical Report and a Medical Self Evaluation
        (Form will be provided from us.)
  • Diploma & Sealed Transcript
        (The South Korean immigration office requires an original diploma. After notarizing,
        South Korean Consulate
    will return it.)
  • A copy of passport
        (Photo page and ID page)
  • Resume and reference letter.
  • If applicable: ?؏ptional but much easier.
        - Teaching Experience Proof
          (Full time experience only/Exact date of working experience needed)
        - Teaching Certificate Copies (i.e., TESOL, CELTA, TEFL)
  • A letter verifying that the certificate is from a 100-hour course ?دptional
  • Criminal Record (If you have) ?دptional
    International couriers such as DHL and FedEx help make this process easy.
  • 4. Getting the Visa Approval Number

    Once we have your documents, our consultant or representative from your school will visit the immigration office in South Korea for processing.
    It will take about 7~10 days to process your Visa Approval Number.

     
    5. Issuing for Visa
    As soon as we receive your Visa Approval Number, we will email you the number along with the other detailed information what needed for issuing the Visa. You will need to take both to your nearest Korean consulate, along with these documents:
    (It can also be done by mail, but remember to include a postage-paid and self-addressed return envelope)
  • Application form
  • Your Passport
  • Two passport-sized pictures
  • Fee (around 50 ~ 60 USD??Depend on the country.)
  • Visa approval (issuance) number
    The time for the Visa process varies widely from consulate to consulate, normally it takes about 3~7 days.
  • 6. Buying Air Ticket

    After you apply for your visa, it??s time to buy your plane ticket. Please keep all provided information, invoices, and receipts for your reimbursement. We will reimburse you when get here for Economic-class. After your ticket is confirmed, let us know your flight number and the exact arrival date and time.
     
    7. Arriving
    Someone will be waiting at the airport holding a placard with your name.
    You can use the public transportations to designated location and someone will meet you there. We will arrange to have your housing prepared. Don??t be worried, just be easy. There??s just one more hoop to jump through and you??re set.
     
    8. ARC Card
    Your Alien Registration Card (ARC) is a form of official ID that the South Korean government requires all non-Korean citizens working in South Korea to obtain and carry at all times. It must be done within 90 days, but we will arrange the trip to immigration so don??t worry too much. When applying for your ARC card you will need to have:
  • A completed Alien Registration Card application form
  • Two passport-sized pictures (3 to 4 cm)
  • Your Passport
  • A letter or certificate that proves you are an employee of the school
  • KRW 10,000 for the processing fee. (About 10 USD)
