Company Information Xceive is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup company that designs and markets breakthrough transceiver products to the TV and set top box markets. We're always looking for the brightest talent -- individuals with proven track records who are motivated to make a difference. As a fabless semiconductor company founded in July 2001, with headquarters in Santa Clara, California, our mission is to become the leading producer of RF-to-baseband transceiver ICs for TVs and set-top boxes, a $3B dollar addressable market. Xceive¨s solutions are based on our patented tunable wideband active RF filtering technology, which allows us to deliver an ideal solution to the customer. We offer broadband transceivers for the analog only or analog/digital (hybrid) TVs with better image quality, at a very small form factor, and low power. Our product simplifies product designs by supporting all analog TV demodulation standards on chip and interfacing to digital demodulators for digital standard support anywhere in the world. In summary: Xceive offers better image quality, superior flexibility, at a lower price.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Field Applications Engineer (FAE) provides the primary technical resource for pre and post sales support of key Xceive customers focusing on critical Tier 1 television customers. This requires extensive customer technical support on site, during their initial hardware design phase through integration and testing of their final products. The FAE facilitates direct communication between key customers, Xceive Sales and other internal Xceive Engineering groups. This will entail in depth specific RF technical design support at Koreas leading CE companies identifying new applications and markets for existing products, feedback on competitive market/technical trends, and feedback on future new products or technical adjustments to current products where needed. The FAE also develops material for customers and sales consumption, such as tutorials, application notes and training material. The primary territory focus will be Korea.
