* Position description



Corporate Pension Operational Specialist and/or Project Manager



We are seeking an individual who is experienced and skilled in the operational areas of corporate pension services providers. The individual will be part of a team responsible for proactively researching, developing, and implementing strategies to continue to produce services and products to assist our corporate pension plan clients effectively, specifically proprietary recordkeeping system, web-site, analytical tools, and customized/personalized communication solutions.



The individual will contribute towards the strengthening of the leadership of Samsung Life in the financial industry and corporate pension plan services provider market, by offering high quality differentiated services and products. ̄





* Primary responsibilities



As a Corporate Pension Operation Specialist and/or Project Manger, you will be responsible for one or more of the following areas:



」 Strategy



- Research and analyze successful case studies as part of the process of developing mid- and long-term forward-looking strategies in the areas of operation of corporate pension plan services providers.

- Devise education programs to broaden and enhance understanding of team members with respect to operation of corporate pension plan services.



」 Recordkeeping system, website, analytical tools



- Update the current proprietary recordkeeping system to easily and effectively integrate the operational requirements of hybrid corporate pension plans and arising from IRA market expansion, and to effectively process direct investment products and services.

- Develop tools to analyze portfolios producing investment guide, retirement planning & advice resulting in value-added client focused products and services.

- Strengthen capability of on-line services.



」 Communication



- Devise and manage production of customized and personalized communication solutions, by client and by participant.

- Develop metrics to monitor and measure, and to illustrate the performance of the customized and personalized communication solutions.

- Work out and roll out new solutions.





* Qualifications (Relocation to Seoul, Korea is required)



」 Education and Experience



- BS or BA required

- No license or professional designation required

- Proven track record of working effectively in a flexible work environment with a results-oriented approach

- 5+ years of benefits administration, outsourcing administration or relevant experience in corporate pension plans services/retirement services

- Demonstrated problem resolution experience



」 Skills and Knowledge



- Speaks Korean well, read and write it fairly

- Understanding of product-specific benefit administration needs and the outsourcing environment

- Expert on plan level provisions of defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid plans, and recordkeeping processes to support outsourcing administration

- Understanding of administration requirements specific to IRA

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service approach to problem solving

- Demonstrated ability to understand client issues, coordinate resolution of issues brought forward from plan sponsors and internal partners, and perform cost, risk and benefit analysis without compromising quality customer service

- Demonstrate and practice good written and oral communication skills
