Teachers Needed in Seoul, Korea

TTI International is a teacher training center at the International Graduate School of English in Seoul, Korea. We run professional development programs to help public school teachers. We are recruiting qualified instructors to teach English methodology courses and language skills courses to elementary and secondary school teachers.

1. Methodology Courses(5 positions)
a) QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Native English speakers with M.A. in TESOL/TEFL/Applied linguistics or related fields and at least 3 years of teaching experience in an EFL context. In addition, CELTA/DELTA certificates are highly desirable.
2) Teaching experience in Korea preferred.

b)WORKING CONDITIONS:
1) Salary will be commensurate with teaching experience and qualifications
2) Overtime pay: 35,000 won per hour
3) Worksite: Dunchon-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul.
(Near Dunchon Station, Line No.5)
4) Contact hours: Minimum 12 hours
5) One-year renewable contract.
6) Work starts on 1, September, 2008.
c) BENEFITS:
1) Housing is provided or a monthly allowance of 500,000.
2) Around 30 holidays a year
3) Severance Pay: One-month salary after completion of the year contract.
4) Airfare subsidy: Airfare to teacher¢®¯s home country will be provided at completion and termination of contract.
5) 50% of Medical Insurance, National Pension Fee, Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance shared by the institute.

a) QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Native English speakers with a 3-4 year university degree (M.A. preferred) and at least 1 year of teaching experience in an EFL context (adults preferred).
2) Degrees related to English education / TESOL or CELTA/DELTA certificate preferred.
3) Teaching experience of more than 3 years is preferred.

b) GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
1) Salary : 2.2~2.5 million won p/m (depending on qualifications and experience)
2) Overtime pay: 35,000 won per hour
3) Worksite: Dunchon-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul.

3) Contact hours: 20 hours a week.
4) One-year renewable contract.
5) Work starts on 1, September, 2008.
