Excellent Couple position available in Cheongju!
Couple Position Available in Cheongju, 2-2.3 million salary, starting in August. School is located in Cheongju, in the heart of the english school district, with many other teachers around. The population is 700 Thousand and you can find many things in the city along with any necessities you want. CheongJu was ranked the number one best city in Korea according to a leading magazine. The prices in Cheongju are very low, save lots of money! The city is a one hour bus ride away from Seoul.
We have a position open for a couple interested in a small, comfortable english school, beginning in early August. The school has 8 years experience and operation is very smooth. Here is some information about our school:
- Roundtrip airfare is paid for by the school, as well as a one month severance pay upon completion of contract.
- Large apartment provided by the school, fully furnished, with A/C, computer, phone, and internet.
- Hours are Mon-Fri. Kindergarten 1-2 hours in the morning followed by a lunch break, then 2-4 hours in the afternoon. Starting no earlier than 10 a.m. Finishing no later than 6:30-7:00. Avg weekly hours is about 22-24 hours.
- 2 weeks of paid vacation as well as 2 weeks holiday, one in the summer and one in winter.
- small school atmosphere allowing the teacher complete control over his/her classroom. Work at your own speed and comfort level. No strict curriculum or in class cameras like many schools.
- You will receive one week observation with the new teachers who can make the transition easier for you.
We have worked here for almost one year now ourselves, and our looking for an energetic couple to replace us. You will be teaching Kindergarten students aged 4-7, and elementary students aged 8-12.
