RTI has two ESL teaching positions available beginning 1 September 2008. We are looking for dedicated professionals to add to our talented staff.
RTI has been teaching English to students for over 12 years.
Our teaching philosophy is based on whole language learning with only English spoken the classroom. We follow a structured learning process with an emphasis on student confidence and communication skills.
Our newly renovated school is located in Busan (busan tourist website) a 15 minutes ride to Haeundae Beach and Gwangali Beach. There are numerous restaurants, shops, bakeries, markets, and parks a short walk from the school and house. The house is less than five minutes from the school. It has one bedrooms, an open kitchen, and a roomy well-lit living room It is fully furnished with a washing machine, fans, heaters, air conditioner (in bedroom), bedding, coffee maker, etc. Internet connection and satellite TV are also available.
Requirements:
Canadian or American Citizen (English as first language)
Minimum BA with a major in English or related studies.
Experience will be considered.
Compensation Package - 1 year contract
Salary of 2.0 million won. (set up of bank account and ATM card)
Housing - non shared. (see house description)
One week vacation, all Korean National holidays
Severance pay equal to one month¢®¯s salary (2.0 million won)
¢®¢ē50/50¢®¯ medical insurance coverage
30 classes a week
No weekends.
