Inha Technical College in Incheon is seeking THREE highly qualified instructors for English conversation on a non-tenure basis for two years. Teaching starts on Aug 25th, 2008.
• Qualifications: - Native English speaker - Educated in an English speaking country (In the case of a Korean with foreign citizenship, since at least high school) - Master degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university with at least 2-year of working experience - TESOL, CELTA or any other teaching license issued by an English-speaking Country • Working Conditions & Benefits: - Minimum Teaching: 10 hours per week (any teaching in excess of 10 hours is paid as overtime) - Annual base salary starting at KRW 30 million (excluding overtime) - Health Insurance - Housing support of KRW 200,000 per month or school accommodations - Korean Teachers Pension • Application Procedure (2-step process): 1. In-Person application (you must bring your original documents) (1) From 09:00 June 30th(Mon), 2008 through 17:00 July 2nd(Thur), 2008 (2) Location: Room 116 Building 5, Inha Technical College #253 Yonghyun-dong, Nam-gu, Incheon, Korea (3) Documents must be submitted in person * Document submission by courier service will not be accepted - Application form (printed out from the internet) with recent photo - Passport and/or Alien Registration Card - University diplomas (for Korean with foreign citizenship, including highschool diploma) - Certificates(TESOL/CELTA) or teaching license - Proofs of past employment (formal documents from past employers which proves your years of experience (Necessary for determining annual salary) *Teaching experience at accredited schools: Should be accompanied with payment certificates of income tax grade issued by the school *Teaching experience at private institutes: Should include certificates of income tax returns issued by the tax office(IRS) • Other information: - In the event that any of the above are falsified, the contract will be terminated immediately. - Applicants failing to submit the required documents by the deadline, will no longer be considered. - Corrections are possible during the internet application period only. - After all documents have been reviewed, successful candidates will be notified of the interview schedule. - Submitted documents will not be returned under any circumstances. - Applicants not holding Korean F-series visa are required to submit a police background check from their place of origin to Korean Immigration for visa processing
