Working Conditions
A. Starting date: July 15, 2008
B. Teaching Days: 5 days (Between Monday and Saturday)
C. Teaching Hours: 24 hours/week (No split / 4 hours a day)
D. Period: 07/15/2008 – 07/14/2009
E. Salary: 1,900,000 won/per month
F. Housing allowance: 800,000 won/bimonthly
G. FLI Kids & Juniors Schedule (9 weeks/5 semesters/year)
1. 2008.3.3. - 2008.5.3.
2. 2008.5.13. - 2008.7.12.
3. 2008.7.21. - 2008.9.20.
4. 2008.9.29. - 2008.11.29.
5. 2008.12.8. – 2009.2.21. (winter vacation included)
H. FLI Writing Center: Teachers can also have part-time writing consultant job in FLI Writing Center
Benefits and Vacation
A. 50% of Medical aid, National Pension fee, Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance shared by the Institute (about 8% of whole salary)
B. One month Severance bonus upon contract completion
C. Full scholarship at Yonsei Korean Language Institute
D. Vacation (around 40 days)
- 1st: May. 6.-12, 08 (7 days)
- 2nd: Jul. 13.-20, 08 (8 days),
- 3rd: Sep. 21.-28, 08 (8 days)
- 4th: Nov. 30.-Dec.7, 08 (8 days)
- 5th: Dec. 22.-Jan 4, 08 (13 days)
* Above plan can subject to change due to FLI term schedule.
Qualifications
A. Fluent in Korean and English with a 4 year University degree (B.A.)and at least 3 years experience/ or an M.A. with 1 year experience teaching English in EFL or ESL context
B. Certificates related to English education (preferred)
C. Specialty in teaching Kids & Juniors program
D. Specialty in teaching TOEFL/ TOEIC, writing (preferred)
