*Class Sizes: 2 to 9 students per class
* Location: Ilsan, Kyonggi Do
* Basic Salary: 2.3 million Korean won
single housing offered and round trip airfare, paid vacation, year-end bonus, medical insurance
* 2:30pm-9:00pm (1:00pm is arrival time)
* Note: There is about 30 hours/week hour cap, meaning any time spent teaching beyond 30 hours is overtime, and is compensated with 25.000 won per extra hour.
Vacation: Summer - 1week; Winter - 1week

* Job Description:
The Reading Power program is designed to educate the students via a reading and discussion based program. The reading of novels along with knowledge-based textbooks comprises the program. The lower levels study abridged versions of books (currently, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Pride & Prejudice, Phantom of the Opera, David Copperfield, etc.). The upper levels study unabridged versions of classic children books (Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, The Chronicles of Narnia, Charlotte's Web, etc.). The highest level students study classic novels You would be responsible for encouraging the students to discuss the plots of each story through discussion, and gage their progress and understanding through each student's summarization homework. Most of the students are overseas returnees and therefore have high levels of proficiency in English.
We need a teacher who is serious about the education of the students. We are proud of our program and feel that it is superior to the programs of most other academies. The working environment is comfortable and the students are a joy.
