Positions Open for TESOL Certificate Program in Chungnam National University - Daejeon, Korea
The Language Education Center (LEC) at Chungnam National University, Daejeon, Korea, is opening its search for full-time instructors and part-time instructors who can start in July 1, 2008 and July 21,2008 respectively.
1. JOB POSITIONS:
- Full-time Instructors & Part-time Instructors
2. QUALIFICATIONS
- Native English Speakers
- Master's degree in TESOL or English Education
3. TEACHING HOURS
For full-time instructors
- 15 hours/week (Freshmen English) & minimum 6 hours (TESOL Certificate Program)
For part-time instructors
- minimum 15 hours/week (TESOL Certificate Program)
4. BENEFITS
For full-time instructors
- Off-campus furnished housing(within a 10-minute walk from campus)
- Severance bonus upon completion of the 1-year contract
- Medical Insurance & National Pension: 50% paid by employer
For part-time instructors
- On-campus housing for non-residents in Daejeon
5. CONTRACT PERIOD
For full-time instructors
- One Year, from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009
- Renewable upon evaluation
For part-time instructors
-from July 21, 2008 to August 14, 2008 (1 month)
6. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- An application form with current photo
- A cover letter describing educational background and teaching experiences
- A passport-size photo
- A copy of undergraduate and graduate diplomas
- A copy of passport (information page)
- A copy of alien registration card (if you already reside in Korea)
- Two copies of transcripts sealed and mailed from appropriate universities
- Lesson plans that reflect your teaching philosophy
