J&U Academy Prospective Teachers, We are a successful Academy that has just opened a third location in beautiful Ilsan, which is a satellite city of Seoul situated just northwest of the downtown core. Ilsan offers all the amenities of a major city yet has a modern feel and has the benefit of access to outdoor recreation. We are also on the main bus and subway routes to downtown Seoul. Our expanding academy will require a new teacher to meet our upcoming needs and is willing to offer a competitive package to attract a suitable teacher. Preferably we are looking for an experienced female teacher who is willing to work evenings as our academy caters to a wide range of students from those learning basic conversation skills to those who have more specific goals such as entering a foreign language high school or passing the TOEFL exam. Job Description: 30 hours per week from Monday to Saturday for a total of 120 hours per month. (Schedules are negotiable) Working hours are typically within the hours of 3:00PM to 11:20PM but actual teaching time is much lower than this. Instruct students in speaking and writing and in the case of writing correct and provide feedback to students about their written essays. Students range from 4th grade elementary to High School students.
