My name is James Green and I am a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, the school that has been ranked #1 in Canada by the Globe and Mail University Report in two of the last three years. I have been teaching in Korea for one year and am really enjoying it. I hope to spend many more wonderful years teaching. Prior to coming to Korea, I worked in the financial services industry as a financial advisor.
If you would like to contact me, my email address is jamesgreen11@gmail.com
My basic preferences for a position are:
- Salary of 2.4 million won or more
- Afternoon or evening hours (no split shifts)
- Located in Seoul. I really enjoy Mokdong but will consider other areas as well.
- My favorite age group to teach is Grade 2-5. I will consider other age groups if the position is otherwise great.
- At least two separate one week vacations. Preferably more.
Besides that, other factors will obviously influence my decision, but those are the basics.
Below is a copy of my resume. If you would like to see the original, formatted version in MS Word, please email me.
Objective: I would like to continue my teaching career by finding a position that will bring out the best in my teaching abilities. I am currently teaching students between Grade Two and Grade Six. I find it very rewarding and would love to continue working in that age group. I do, however, have an interest in teaching other age groups if I feel that the situation is a good fit for me.
