Contracted on oceangoing vessel M/V ¡°Absinthe¡± in Alaska from June ¡¯05 to Sept. ¡¯05 and performed housekeeping, janitorial and kitchen duties as well as any assigned tasks. Also contracted on vessel M/V ¡°Ocean Leader¡± in the Gulf of Mexico area from Sept. ¡¯05 to Dec. ¡¯05 and performed deckhand, housekeeping and janitorial duties.

Case Manager – Union Station Foundation (Los Angeles, California, USA) May ¡¯03 – May ¡®05
Counselor and social worker at the intake office of a Los Angeles, CA homeless shelter. Duties included interviewing, outreach, and housing placement for walk-in homeless individuals and families in Los Angeles. Responsibilities also included crisis intervention and individual counseling on substance abuse and mental health issues.
