I started as a Resourcer within the Commerce Finance Permanent team and learned about the field of accounting through calling and interviewing candidates.
I then moved into a Headhunting role for 4 months where I cold-called individuals from the Big 4 Accounting firms and arranged and ran interviews, introducing them to a range of Consultants for later placement into a job.
I then moved into a full consulting role with a portfolio of clients within Banking and Financial Services, including some of Australia¢®¦s largest retail banks, international investment banks and fund managers. My role involves meeting with and scoping clients¢®¦ needs, developing new business, interviewing candidates on a daily basis, writing job advertisements, and matching appropriate candidates to roles. This involves complete end-to-end management of the interview process, prepping candidates, keeping in touch after placement and taking clients and candidates for lunches and entertaining at events. I work as part of a team-based environment.
