To Whom It May Concern,
My friend and I are looking to teach English in Seoul, South Korea, beginning in late August or early September.
We are both Canadian citizens and have obtained Bachelor of Arts degrees from recognized Universities; and with these a breadth of experience and knowledge concerning formal writing and communication skills. Also we both have volunteer experience working with and instructing youth. Where I have tutored students with learning or social difficulties through Frontier College, Matthew has worked as a summer camp counsellor working closely with adolescents in group atmospheres. This volunteer work has allowed us the necessary skills and passion required of a teacher in the learning process.
As a result of our relevant experience we would require a minimum salary of 2,200,000 won, as well as accommodations to be provided. Any further details can be sorted out through the interview process. I have posted both of our updated resumes below and any further information i.e. photo, copy of degree etc., can be submitted upon request.
We believe this to be the opportunity of a lifetime and would approach the work with the utmost professional and enthusiastic candour. I hope you look favourably upon our applications and look forward to hearing from all who are interested. Any questions please direct them to rafam@ns.sympatico.ca or contact me at 902-538-7294, and I will be more than happy to answer.
Sincerely,
Corey Rafuse
