Worked in the suppression of wild land fires in the El Dorado National Forest and Western United States during the 2006 fire season.
Collaborated with my fire engine crew solving problems both on and off the fire line.
Took the responsibility of maintaining records and repairs of the SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatuses) on a daily basis.
Participated in and led daily safety meetings on everyday procedures.

Held positions of responsibility such as Service Learning Liaison and Safety Coordinator for my team.
Worked and traveled together with eleven corps members for ten months in service oriented projects.
Worked with the Coachella Housing Authority in Indo California building houses for migrant farm workers.
Worked with the American Red Cross during the 2003 San Diego Wildfires as a Family Service Technician and Bulk Distribution Driver for three weeks.
Worked with the Road Home of Salt Lake City Utah with there emergency winter shelter program as a shelter monitor helping give a bed to over 300 homeless men a night.
Performed camp restoration projects at Camp Fire USA Camp Kilowan in Dallas, Oregon getting camp ready for the up coming season.
Worked with the US Forest Service at El Dorado National Forest as a Wild Land Firefighter with a type II hand crew and received all proper certifications.
Performed 1700 plus hours of service over the ten months and 80 plus hours of individual service projects with separate agencies.

Junior Division Leader, Senior Camp Counselor, summer 2002-2003
Planned and coordinated daily camp activities for youths ages 8 – 16, along with other camp staff.
Held the position of immediate supervisor of 20 counselors and thousands of youths participating in two weeklong sessions of residential camp activities.
