I am currently searching for summer teaching work in Korea to begin after July 19th and end before August 30th. Currently, I am employed and working at a junior high school in Nagoya, Japan. I am an American born and raised in New York City and I hold a degree in East Asian languages and literatures from the University of Florida. I also hold double minor in teaching English as a second language and linguistics. I am a bilingual speaker of English and Japanese and previously have lived in the city of Chuncheon, Korea for a period of one year. My 3+ years of teaching experience includes teaching small class sizes at a Korean Hagwon (3 to 15 students) from elementary to high school. In Japan, I am responsible for creating lesson plans and administering tests for over 700 students with class sizes ranging from 35-40 students.
