COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT African American Alliance, 2004-PresentAn organization that spreads cultural awareness throughout Sewanee's campusPresident, 2006-2008; Treasurer, 2004， Planned cultural outings for student groups to the Birmingham Civil Rights Museum, Martin Luther King Jr. Center, and Memphis Civil Rights Museum， Organized a group of students to adopt a family for Christmas to cook dinner, decorate their house, and give presents. ， Organized Sewanee¨s Annual Greek Step Show, a rhythm and dance production in February 2008. Coordinated all aspects of the event including marketing, processing applications, stage direction and publicity. ， Lobbied for the increased presence of African American female faculty on University of the South¨s campus by writing letters, making petitions, and receiving a grant for diverse faculty. ， Organized Sewanee¨s first annual Black History Production, which consisted of a collection of student poems and songs celebrating the lives of African Americans.
