RESEARCH AND DESIGN PROJECTS
Senior Design Project
Designed and implemented an electromagnetic braking system for a vehicle without any mechanical components that could be used permanently.
Microcontroller was programmed to apply the electromagnetic force to the rotor by differentiating the duty cycle according to the interpretation of the feedback from the brake pedal.
Advanced Digital Design
Created a system to execute an assembly code and display the result using Verilog HDL to interface components.
Firmware was developed and stored in the ROM that computed and executed an assembly code stored in the RAM using a keypad and displayed its result on 7-segments LEDs.
Operating Systems
Established a UNIX-based application demonstrating the use of interprocess communications and synchronization.
Streamlined a client/server solution using UNIX sockets to implement a file transfer protocol for data delivery.
Data Communications System
Researched on the security issues of the wireless network and the possible solutions to prevent the attack from outside the network.
Demonstrated how one could find the specific target¡¯s IP address using the instant messenger program and Ethereal.
