To Whom It May Concern,

Please find attached my resume to provide you with an overview of my qualifications and experience. I am applying for positions with my partner Christopher Merlino, as we wish to travel and teach together. Christopher and I are available to work during the months of August, September and October 2008.

I have completed the Advanced TESOL Certificate, and have completed
specialisations in TESOL English for Adults, TESOL Private Tuition, TESOL
International Business, and IELTS and TOEFL Preparation.

I have six years experience working as a Speech Pathologist running my own private practice. As a Speech Pathologist I have taught students aged from three years through to adults in the areas of language, speech, grammar and communication. In this role I have developed excellent communication skills through regular contact with clients, their families and health professionals. Owning a small business has also taught me various analytical and managerial skills as well as an ability to problem solve.

I have studied Speech and Drama since the age of five years by attending weekly Drama and Performance classes and have incorporated these teaching techniques into my work as a Speech Pathologist. As a result, I can offer you the highest quality oral communication and presentation skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of a variety of teaching and disciplinary techniques.

I would be very pleased to discuss my resume further with you at your convenience. Please do not hesitate to contact me (pendleburyteaching@hotmail.com) so that I can provide you with any additional information you may require.

Yours sincerely,
Adelaide Pendlebury
