EMPLOYMENT
Leading Teacher
April 13th 2007 to present.
AnB School,
Daehwa-dong,
Seo-ku,
Ilsan,
Kyung-gi-do,
South Korea.
Currently I am working in a private school. My duties are extremely varied and I have developed a wide variety of teaching techniques and methods for an array of age groups and English abilities. I have taught ages ranging from 5 to 13, subjects such as arts and crafts, science, safari, phonics, reading, writing, grammar, conversation and soccer. My time is split equally between teaching kindergarten classes in the morning and older age groups in the afternoons. I enjoy both of these very different settings. I love the energy and enthusiasm of kindergarten, but I also enjoy the more in-depth work that can be conducted with more advanced students.
When I renewed my contract in April, I was made the leading teacher of the school. I have more responsibility than the other teaching staff. My additional responsibilities include: meeting new students, teaching new classes, conducting open classes, producing my own curriculum for specific subjects and producing worksheets for other teachers to use.
