Annyong Haseyo! I am currently living and working in Suwon, South Korea. I work for a very prestigious private hagwon, and I have worked here for 2 years. Right now, I am the head foreign teacher, so I am not only responsible for instruction of students and teachers, but training of new teachers and writing curriculum. I have extensive experience teaching all levels of students from beginner to debate level students who have lived abroad. I have lots of experience in writing books that focus on speaking, listening, and writing skills (including a book that I wrote solely on my own). My experience in Korea has given me ample opportunity to develop not only my teaching skills, but my teamwork and leadership skills. I am looking to find a position that will compensate me fairly for the experience and knowledge that I bring with me to the job (2,800,000 won and up). I am interested in single or couple positions (my husband is a Canadian who lives in Korea also and he has 2 years of experience as well). I (we) would love to find a position teaching Elementary students or adults, but are also willing to take positions for Kindergarten and Middle School. I (we) would also like a position that is in or around Seoul (preferably Bundang). Having an apartment that is walking distance to the school is mandatory. Please e-mail me if you have any questions, or would like a picture. Thank you!
