Director of Business Services for the Pacific Far East (Korea, Japan, Guam
and Diego Garcia Military Bases): Supervising an immediate staff of seven:
Responsibilities: Data entry of student registration and payments,
processing government and student refunds, invoicing US Military and
Government for student tuition assistance programs, recording US Military
and Government payments for student tuition assistance payments, placing
students on hold for returned checks and declined credit card payments,
notifying students who are placed on hold, removing students from hold after
their accounts have been cleared, researching and solving student financial
problems, training the field (consisting of about 300 employees) in fiscal
accounting, paying monthly operating expenses and establishing General
Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP).
