I have been teacher for the past five years, and have experience in all levels of primary and secondary ESL and subject curricula education. Working with diverse cultures and belief systems has increased my understanding of the delicate and professional demeanor required to work successfully in this type of setting. I have lived and worked for three years in both public and private schools in Bangkok and Ayutthaya, Thailand, and have strong but caring communication skills. After obtaining a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon, I completed an 80 hour TESOL certification course, as well as attended workshops focusing on business, email and academic writing. I also have a Thai Culture Course certificate, and currently possess a teacher’s license and work permit.
