If you are planning to work in the city, competition for the poisition is high. Therefore, your salary tends to get lower. However, you will get more tips than suburban area.
If you work in suburban area, your salary is high, but tips are low.
I am not so sure about $4500/month salary for 6month experienced sushi chef. It might be the sum of salary plus the tips.
If you learn how to make sushi, your employement is guaranteed, since there is a growing demand for sushi chef.
